Dr. Mimi Abella-Blanco
Board-Certified Pediatrician
Dr. Mimi Abella-Blanco received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Miami in 1986 and her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1991. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she served as chief resident.
From 1995 to 2000, Dr. Abella-Blanco was a staff pediatrician and attending physician at Mount Sinai Medical Center. She then spent five years as a partner at Miami Pediatrics followed by two years as a senior associate at Pediatric Associates. Dr. Abella-Blanco joined Westchester Pediatrics in 2007. She is also on the volunteer faculty at the University of Miami Department of Pediatrics.
Dr. Abella-Blanco is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Mimi is married with three children, including a set of twins.
