Gabriella Cristina Pohudka, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant certified by the Florida Board of Medicine since 2016. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Gabriella has always had a passion for medicine, particularly after she had the opportunity to volunteer at a medical mission in the rural towns of the Dominican Republic as a young high school student. She later went on to attend Boston College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a clinical concentration. Inspired by her experiences abroad, she co-founded the first global health organization at her university and led other students on various medical brigades in South America. Gabriella also interned at the South Florida research site, Segal Trials, where she helped conduct phase I-IV clinical trials in the areas of psychiatry, neurological addiction, sexual infectious disease, and women’s health. After graduating in 2013, Gabriella was accepted into Keiser University for the Masters of Science in Physician Assistant studies program. Once she received her license, she worked for one year in the urgent care setting in Doral, FL, where she gained extensive experience treating patients who required urgent medical care. Now, her focus is in urology, and she is a proud member of our Urology Specialty Care and Baptist Hospital team. Gabriella is fluent in Spanish and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Besides her work at our practice, Gabriella enjoys spending time with her family, kickboxing, and traveling.
