Dr. José E. Berthé was born in Caracas, Venezuela. He obtained his Medical School degree at The Central University of Venezuela and furthered his career at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio where he obtained his degree as Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Dr. Berthé’s specialty includes the full spectrum of women’s gynecological care their during reproductive years and beyond menopause.
His services include management of abnormal pap spears, uterine fibroids, menstrual and reproductive disorders, and menopausal symptoms. He has extensive training and experience in minimally invasive surgery and hysterectomy.
Throughout his 21-years of experience, he has provided high quality and compassionate care to his patients while paying particular attention to their individual needs. One characteristic that sets him apart is that he actively engages his patients to ensure they are well informed and counseled regarding their medical condition and current medical practices available for treatment. Dr. Berthé’s philosophy has always been to “focus on and listen closely to the patient.”
Dr. Berthé has a well-established professional reputation in the Coral Springs community where he previously had the privilege of serving as the Ob/Gyn Department Chairman at Coral Springs Medical Center for 4-years.
Dr. Berthé values time with his family. He is married to his wife, Katrina and has 2 wonderful sons, Daniel and Mateo. Traveling and enjoying the outdoors are important part of their lives.
