Allison Rad-Becerra, APRN

Allison Rad-Becerra was born and raised in Miami, FL. She attended Florida International University where she graduated with honors from the Nicole Wertheim College of Nursing and Health Sciences in 2014. She began her nursing career in a Medical-Surgical Unit at Baptist Hospital where she gained experience and built her foundation in nursing. In 2016, Allison transferred to the Labor & Delivery Unit at South Miami Hospital, a career move she had always dreamt of. Allison’s passion for assisting women throughout their pregnancies, as well as a desire to provide high quality care to women across all stages of life, led her to pursue her Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Miami. She graduated in 2019 and became a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. While continuing to work in the Labor and Delivery Unit, she became an adjunct professor at Barry University and West Coast University. After 9 years of bedside nursing, Allison left the hospital setting and joined the South Miami Women’s Health team in 2023. Allison enjoys traveling to new places and spending time with her husband and family.
