Dr. Hector J. Trujillo is a Board Certified Pediatrician. He received his medical degree from the Universidad Central del Este (UCE) in 1989. Dr. Trujillo completed a pediatric internship at the University of Florida in 1993 and his pediatric residency at the University of Chicago’s Lutheran General Hospital in 1997. He was an associate professor in basic science and clinical science medical board review at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center and also served as an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Miami. Dr. Trujillo was recognized by his patients and peers in the Patients’ Choice Award 2010-2020, Compassionate Doctor Recognition Award 2010-2020, Top 10 Doctor-Neighborhood Award 2014-2016, Americas Top Pediatricians in 2018, Top Doctor 2020-2021, Castle Connolly Top Doctor for the last 5 years and has received a Vitals Preferred Provider award. Dr. Trujillo holds associate staff positions at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, Baptist Hospital, South Miami Hospital and Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. Dr. Trujillo is currently accepting all patients from newborns to age 21.
