Our Physicians
After working for years as employed physicians of a large healthcare corporation, Doctors Pablo Uribasterra and Carlos Sarduy were disappointed by the “rushed, cold and sterile” medical model that their former employers demanded. In August, 2006, they left the world of corporate-run medicine and founded FemLife Healthcare for Women with the goal of differentiating themselves from other practices by providing compassionate Obstetric and Gynecological care for their patients. Both have received acclaim year after year through the Patient’s Choice Award as well as Compassionate Doctor Recognition, awarded to only the top 1% of physicians nationally.
As of 2017, our practice is proud to be named Signature Women’s Healthcare. With a brand new, state of the art facility in Pembroke Pines and a beautiful location in Miami Lakes, our practice has grown to include Dr. Jenny Arango-Longo and Dr. Anamar Aponte Mellado, two top-notch providers who share our philosophy of providing compassionate care. With surgical and medical privileges exclusively at Memorial Hospital Miramar, we serve patients primarily in the Pembroke Pines, Weston, Miramar and Miami Lakes areas.
