Dr. Pablo Uribasterra
Doctor Uribasterra, also affectionately known as “Dr. Pablo” by his patients and staff, was born in New York City and raised in South Florida. He attended Tulane University for his undergraduate education and graduated with Honors from Tulane University School of Medicine in 1994. Dr. Pablo pursued his post-graduate education through Residency at Magee Women’s Hospital, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, graduating in 1998 as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He returned to his hometown of South Florida that same year, where he entered private practice and has been caring for his community ever since. He is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and has been active in hospital leadership. He recently completed a four year term as Chief of Staff for Memorial Hospital Miramar and is the past Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well.
Dr. Pablo enjoys Obstetrics and also specializes in minimally invasive procedures, including vaginal and robotic surgery with the DaVinci system. Doctor Pablo has been recognized as one of America’s Most Compassionate Doctors for the last 15 years running, a distinction held by only 1% of the nation’s physicians. He has also been honored with the Patient’s Choice Award for the last 10 consecutive years.
He is happily married to Ana Estorino-Uribasterra and has three wonderful children. If you don’t see him in the office, he is most likely fishing.
