Family Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Jennifer Stone is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with 26 years of experience in health care. Jennifer is also a Practicum Coordinator and Professor in a large Nurse Practitioner program. Jennifer received her Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialization degree from Barry University. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and her Master of Business Administration at Walden University.
Dr. Stone has received certifications in BioTe pellet hormone therapy, Botulinum Toxin, dermal fillers, laser therapy, and facial rejuvenation from the Esthetic Skin Institute of Ft. Lauderdale.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Jennifer worked as a level III specialty registered nurse in cardiac surgery intensive care. She has practiced as a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care, urology-surgery, and retail health
Dr. Stone is the Nominating and Membership Committee Chair for the South Florida Council of Advanced Practice Nurses, a member of the Florida Nurses Association, and a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Dr. Stone’s philosophy and approach to her patient’s health and wellness is based on health promotion and disease prevention, with an emphasis on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease.
