Dr. Ronald Sancetta is an Italian American who grew up in Queens, NY. He attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and was the youngest in his class graduating at the age of 23 with an MD degree. He trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Springfield, Massachusetts, where the focus was on promoting natural childbirth. He was well trained in techniques and management to encourage vaginal delivery including an external version for breech and vaginal birth after cesarean, and natural delivery of twins.

After 3 years of postgraduate training in the Public Health service and working at Jackson Memorial Hospital, he started a solo practice in Miami in 1989. He has since continued to provide unique services to his patients. He is skilled at providing office surgery, cosmetic procedures including Botox, labiaplasty, liposuction, and fat transfer. He has embraced new technologies that offer alternatives to hysterectomy and treatments for excessive bleeding that can be accomplished by simple office-based procedures that have revolutionized the practice of gynecology. He developed and published a new Shoulder Shrug Technique to help deliver babies during difficult vaginal delivery.

In 2015 he opened a Birth Center in Miami to allow patients to deliver outside a hospital setting but with the advantage of close proximity to an adjacent hospital should the need for transfer arise. The birth center provides patients the options of water birth with intermittent monitoring in a calm serene environment. He prefers to present you with options for your care and allow you to decide which option is best suited for you.
