Dr. Patricia Jimenez Rivero
Dr. Patricia Jimenez Rivero was born to Cuban parents in London and raised in Miami after immigrating to the US. Inspired by her own pediatrician, she knew from a young age that she would pursue a career in medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Florida where she earned a Bachelor degree in Microbiology.
She went on to earn her medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL. Finally, she returned home for her residency training at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and fell in love with longitudinal and preventative care. She is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Patricia is thrilled to join PPA and serve her home town community. Dr. Jimenez is happily married to her husband Pedro. They were blessed to welcome a baby girl in Fall 2023. On her time off she enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, and exercising.
