Dr. Macie Wilkins Hurtado was raised in Tallahassee, FL. She was an avid tennis player and eventually went to play on the team at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, where she majored in Biology and Spanish. After graduating college, she came back to Florida for medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, FL. She then did her pediatric residency training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is very excited to move back to Florida, join the PPA family, and to finally be able to pursue her passion of pediatrics primary care.
When she isn’t working, you will find her spending quality time with her husband Julian, cuddling her two cats, lifting weights at the gym, or eating delicious food!
