About Dr. Millan

Dr. Nicole Millan is a proud native of South Florida having been born and raised in Miami in family of Cuban immigrants. Dr. Millan is an alumna of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy located in South Miami. She graduated with Honors from Florida International University (FIU) where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minors in Chemistry and Psychology.

She completed a Postbaccalaureate Research Fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland with research focused on fertility preservation. She returned home to complete medical school at the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2024.

Her clinical interests include Obstetrics, Gynecology, Infertility, Breastfeeding medicine, LGBTQ medicine, and medical education. Her dedication to medical education was recognized with the Golden Apple Teaching Award and the Annual Resident Teaching Award for her exceptional teaching of medical students and residents during her tenure as Chief Resident. Dr. Millan has multiple publications and numerous research presentations at local, regional, national and international meetings.
As a Junior Fellow, she remains an active member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and advocates for legislation to protect women’s health. She also stays involved as a Member in the Miami Ob/Gyn Society. Dr. Millan is passionate about providing exceptional, comprehensive, and compassionate care to her patients. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of her professional endeavors, she cherishes time with her family and indulges in cooking and gardening.
