Laurie graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing with highest honors from Nova Southeastern University. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing and Nurse Midwifery from the University of Cincinnati. Prior to becoming a Certified Nurse-Midwife, she worked for 28 years in Maternal/Child, with the last 10 being an assistant nurse manager in Labor & Delivery. Laurie has been married for 26 years and has three beautiful children currently attending college. Her professional life has been based on her passionate desire in encouraging women to become active participants in their own health care and dedicated to providing women and their families with a caring and personalized health care experience.
