Dr. Fernanda L. Mercade
Was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She finished her degree at Universidad de Buenos Aires.
In 2004 she began her Internal Medicine residency at Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan, NY. After that, she completed a Geriatric Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, NY.
Later that year she moved to Miami to work as an attending at Jessie Trice Community Health Center, an FQHC for the underserved population. She continued her journey in the non for profit environment by becoming the Medical Director for Camillus Health.
In the next few years, Dr. Mercade has worked in different health care environments like non for profit, government health care, start-up, and private practice. She has been working in private practice for over 4 years, providing care for young and older adults. She is affiliated with Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Florida.
