About Mark Gordon MD

Dr. Mark Gordon, MD, FACS is the Director of Hemorrhoid Centers America – Miami and Hollywood, Florida with offices in Pembroke Pines and Hialeah. He has been treating hemorrhoids and rectal diseases for more than 25 years in South Florida. Dr. Gordon is a Board Certified surgeon who is one of the leading experts in the United States in the non-surgical care of hemorrhoids. HCA are the largest and most successful centers in the country devoted to the non-operative treatment of hemorrhoids and anal fissures.

Dr. Gordon is very pleased to bring the HCA non-surgical treatment to South Florida. Each year HCA helps thousands of patients avoid painful surgery. Dr. Gordon is a graduate of Ursinus College. He received his MD from Thomas Jefferson University, and completed his training in Surgery at SUNY Downstate in NYC, where he was an American Cancer Society Fellow. He then served two years as a surgeon in the U.S. Army. Dr. Gordon then returned to South Florida, where he has practiced ever since. Dr. Gordon is Board Certified in Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, SAGES (the endoscopy society), and many local and national surgical and medical societies. Dr. Gordon has served as Chief of General Surgery in two local hospital systems, as well as a professional standards reviewer for both Medicare and the State of Florida. Dr. Gordon is proud to have been elected by his peers as a US News “Top Doctor” in South Florida. He strives for the pain free treatment of hemorrhoids, fissures, skin tags, and associated problems.
