Lans and Associates OBGYN fully supports vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) deliveries and we have a dedicated staff devoted to give expectant parents a full range of birthing options. We deliver more than babies! At the heart of our obstetrical care services, we have a family centered care philosophy. We help prepare you for the birth of your baby with education, counseling and resources you and your baby deserve during this special time.

The safety of our patients is our highest priority. If you are transferring from another provider, we ask that you obtain all previous medical records and bring with you to the visit with us. We can gain your records from another practice but it may take time. Your assistance early in this process is extremely helpful and appreciated.

We look at all possible factors that may affect your experience in bringing your baby into this world. For ALL our obstetrical patients, we recommend rotating your appointments among different practitioners in the office. This will enable you to meet the team who will deliver you and take care of you during your hospital stay. This also helps us ensure that you have not missed any milestone in your pregnancy plan of care. For low risk or uncomplicated deliveries, after 36 weeks of gestation, we deliver at Jackson North Medical Center in North Miami and Memorial Regional Hospital, in Hollywood. For mothers facing high risk pregnancies, we provide access to our providers 24 hours a day.

At your discretion, as an expectant mother, and with your authorization, your family and your entire village can fully participate in this exciting life event. Our prenatal services are geared to treat and prevent potential health problems throughout the course of the pregnancy and to promote healthy lifestyles that benefit both mother and child (or children).
