Dr. Philip Colaizzo is a highly experienced and dedicated pediatrician with an extensive background in providing exceptional medical care to children. Born in France, Dr. Colaizzo completed his medical education at St. George’s University, where he developed a strong foundation in pediatrics. Following his medical school, he pursued residency training in various prestigious institutions, including in England, Beth Israel in New York, and Miami Children’s in Florida.
With over 35 years of experience, Dr. Colaizzo is board certified in pediatrics and child abuse who has positively impacted the lives of countless children and their families. Throughout his career, he has held several significant positions, including being the Head of the Child Protection Team for 25 years and the Director of Cleft Palate Services for 20 years. He also owned and operated a Rural Health Clinic in Pahokee Florida for almost 30 years.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Colaizzo finds joy in various activities. He is an avid golfer, enjoying the peacefulness and challenge that the sport offers. Additionally, he has a passion for boating, finding solace in the open waters. Dr. Colaizzo also has a deep appreciation for live music, often attending concerts and performances to unwind and enjoy the talents of various artists. However, above all, he cherishes spending quality time with his family, cherishing every moment he gets to create lasting memories with his loved ones.
