Lyssa is a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in nursing. Having worked in the neonatal ICU, emergency department, urgent care and pediatric primary care, Lyssa is well-versed in the treatment of various medical conditions. After completing her post-graduate studies, Lyssa gained experience in residential and outpatient psychiatric settings with a focus on treating children, adolescents and young adults with anxiety, ADHD, depression, and other mood disorders. Additionally, she serves as a clinical instructor at Nova Southeastern University for nurse practitioner students, sharing her knowledge and experience with the next generation of healthcare providers. Her compassion, dedication to her patients, and staying up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the pediatric and psychiatric fields are just some of the things that make Lyssa a remarkable healthcare provider. In her free time, Lyssa loves exploring the outdoors with her family. She enjoys weekend getaways that include hiking through the mountains outside of Florida and camping in scenic locations.
