Rachel Bernstein MD, FACOG
Dr. Rachel Bernstein is the third generation in her family to become a doctor. She grew up in Chicago, attended undergrad at the University of Illinois majoring in Music (vocal performance), and attended Chicago Medical School (now Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science). She then did an Ob/Gyn residency at Marshall University in West Virginia.
Dr. Bernstein has been practicing medicine since 2002, first in Vail, Colorado, and then from 2006 to 2016 at Holy Cross Medical Ob/Gyn Group in Fort Lauderdale. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Additionally, she serves as a co-director and preceptor of the Ob/Gyn clerkship for students at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where she is proud to mentor and teach medical students. In 2016 and 2017, she received the George Paff Teaching Award, given by Miller School of Medicine students to outstanding educators. Dr. Bernstein is certified in electronic fetal monitoring. She is also certified in breastfeeding education and is a Baby Friendly Physician Champion.
Dr. Bernstein is excited to have a private practice in order to provide exceptional healthcare to women in all stages of their lives.

Dr. Calvo is by far the best doctor I have ever seen. She cared for me during my pregnancy, delivered my baby girl, and is still seeing me postpartum due to hypertension issues. I had a high risk pregnancy for multiple reasons, and Dr. Calvo always made sure to explain everything in great detail to me and made sure I received the best care possible. She’s very personable and makes you feel like more than just another patient. The office is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
