During pregnancy you may feel exhausted after you have gotten a good amount of sleep. This usually happens in the first trimester which lets your body know that you need more sleep because you are caring for another human being. The second trimester is easier on the body and you may feel a renewed sense of energy and vitality. Third trimester brings you back to your first stage where you feel exhausted. Sleeping gets more difficult when you get larger. The baby’s movements may cause you to sleep less and adds to the number of times you have to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night. These issues may make you moods change more often, causing you to go from happy to unhappy throughout the day. It is important to have a routine that is well scheduled so you can have enough rest and time to relax during the day.
