Services we offer include:

Fibroids are benign growths that can develop in or around a woman’s uterus. Since they don’t usually come with any symptoms and are made of muscles and fibroid tissue, many women are unaware they have them. They can be of various shapes and sizes, with three distinct types of fibroids.

Every 1 in 3 women have fibroids, and they often appear between the ages of 30 to 50. They can be detected at a routine gynecological check-up and are usually not treated because they tend to shrink on their own after some time. For further information, you can consult us and we will carry out all the necessary examinations

Heavy and painful periods affect a lot of women worldwide. Although many women tend to ignore fibroids, they should be taken seriously and taken care of with the aim of preventing further complications.

Since the causes can vary – hormonal imbalance, miscarriage, abnormal pregnancies, endometriosis, etc. – it is advisable to get a detailed examination by an obstetrics and gynecology specialist who will carry out tests to detect possible abnormalities and provide you with a suitable treatment. Depending on the results of the tests, your doctor will make sure to give you proper medications and inform you about possible outcomes and side effects.

Menopause usually affects women after the age of 45, but there can be exceptions to this. Those who are entering menopause might be feeling different and notice certain changes such as irregular periods and hot flashes. Although there aren’t any tests for determining menopause, your gynecologist might check the status of certain hormones like FHS and THS to be able to diagnose this condition.

The treatment for menopause usually includes alleviating symptoms with hormonal therapy, light antidepressants, vaginal estrogen, and medications for preventing osteoporosis. Of course, you shouldn’t take any of these on your own before consulting your doctor. The doctor will provide you with all the benefits and risks in order to give you proper care and advice.

Ovarian cysts are common fluid-filled sacs that can develop on the woman’s ovaries, but since they often do not show any symptoms, many women don’t even know they have them. Generally, ovarian cysts form and go away on their own in a matter of a few months, but when they rupture they can cause minor issues such as pelvic pain and bleeding.

To detect them, your doctor will have to perform a vaginal ultrasound and this way he or she can establish if there is a more serious problem behind it, like endometriosis. If you’re diagnosed with an ovarian cyst, your gynecologist will track your condition over the course of several weeks before determining further course of action.

PCOS is a common problem occurring among women of reproductive age, characterized by infrequent and long menstrual periods, metabolic issues and a hormonal imbalance. The causes of PCOS remain unknown, but if determined early and properly treated, further complications might be prevented.

Women with PCOS usually have problems conceiving, so they are often referred to a reproductive health specialist for further examination and treatment. Based on your medical history, symptoms, overall health and age, our team of gynecologists will provide you with a detailed plan to alleviate the symptoms and increase your chances of getting pregnant.

Pelvic pain evaluation is usually performed on women in the reproductive age to discover the possible causes and rule out any life-threatening illnesses. Chronic pelvic pain is a pain that lasts longer than 6 months and is of the same intensity.

Endometriosis, fibroids, musculoskeletal problems, and pelvic inflammatory disease are only some of the possible causes of pelvic pain. The doctor performs tests before determining what is causing the pain and provides the patient with follow-up examination and treatment.

If you feel that pelvic pain is disrupting your daily life, you should consult a specialist and undergo examinations that can determine the cause of the pain. Book an appointment with us for an examination.

Dysfunctional uterine bleeding is a type of vaginal bleeding which occurs in irregular intervals. Although the duration and intensity can be unpredictable, dysfunctional uterine bleeding is usually painless. It most commonly occurs among younger women who recently started getting periods, women approaching menopause, or as a result of stress and illness. In most cases, the mucous membrane is severely thick due to the ovaries producing hormones.

When dysfunctional bleeding isn’t connected with age or stress, the cause can be polycystic ovary syndrome. A very rare cause of dysfunctional bleeding is ovarian tumor which creates estrogen, or unstable estrogen metabolism due to liver issues.

This is another type of vaginal bleeding that can occur approximately a year before or a year after menopause.

There can be several causes of this. The most common causes are vaginal infections and lack of thickness in the vaginal walls. When the vaginal walls are thin and fragile, they can lead to bleeding after intercourse.

Other possible causes include estrogen supplements that women of this age take. However, since there is a risk of a malign tumor in the cervix or the mucous membrane, women need to visit a gynecologist as soon as possible.

Vaginitis is a common inflammation of the reproductive organs – the vulva and vagina – in women followed by discharge, pain, and itching sensation. It appears due to an imbalance of vaginal bacteria or an infection.

Common types include bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections, and trichomoniasis. The causes are varied and can be different from women to women. Depending on the type you are diagnosed with, the treatment may vary and your doctor should provide you with proper care.

If you notice any strange gynecologic problems such as unusual discharge or chronic pelvic pain, contact experts from our department and ensure proper medical check-up and care.

Endometriosis is a common and usually very painful disorder that can affect women of all ages. It happens when the endometrium, the tissue that normally lines the inside of a woman’s uterus starts forming on the outside of the uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes. This can cause further complications if not treated adequately and on time.

Common symptoms include painful menstrual periods, excessive bleeding, painful intercourse, and infertility. If you suspect you are suffering from this condition, you should know that early diagnosis and treatment can be beneficial for managing your symptoms. Our team of professional gynecologists are at your disposal for all inquiries.

A common problem in breastfeeding women in the first three months after delivery, mastitis can be quite painful and hard to manage. Breastfeeding women can develop lactation or puerperal mastitis, whereas non-breastfeeding women can have periductal mastitis.

Causes include milk build-up while breastfeeding or an injury to the breast for women who aren’t breastfeeding. Mastering the breastfeeding technique, loose clothing and regular feeds are a good way to prevent mastitis from forming. Non-breastfeeding women will be prescribed with antibiotics to reduce the inflammation. Mastitis isn’t hard to treat but has to be dealt with appropriately and on time.

If you believe you might have mastitis, consult your physician immediately for further information on proper advice and care.
