Scheduling Appointments
To schedule an appointment, please call our office 305-694-9800, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00am to 4:30pm, or Wednesdays between 9:00am to 5:00pm. Our appointment staff may ask you about the nature of your visit in order to book the most appropriate appointment for you.
Photo Identification
Photo identification is required. A driver’s license, passport or another form of government-issued identification, are all acceptable forms of photo identification. Photo identification must be current. Original photo identification must be presented, photocopies, faxed copies and/or electronic copies are not allowed.
Late Cancellation, No Confirmation, No Show
We understand that situations arise in which you must cancel your appointment. It is therefore your responsibility to cancel your appointment. You need to provide a notice, the latest 2 business days prior to the visit. The Doctor reserved his time for you that day. Each time a patient misses an appointment, another patient is prevented from receiving care. Therefore, IF NO CONFIRMATION, LATE CANCELLATION, NO SHOW AFTER CONFIRMATION. MIAMI GLOBAL OBGYN reserves the right to cancel your appointment and a fee of $40 will apply.
This fee is not covered by insurance and must be paid prior to your next appointment.
Late Appointments
Please make every effort to be on time for your appointment. We respect the time of our patients and our providers strive to stay on schedule so that you don’t have to wait long. If you arrive late for your appointment, we will try to fit you in as best we can. However, you may be asked to wait or on occasion, be asked to reschedule your appointment.
Payments
Co-payments are due at time of service, amount less than $30 are only in cash.
At your first appointment, we kindly request that new patients complete a Credit Card Authorization Form (click here), which may be used to cover balances of charges not paid or covered by your insurance.
Infants / Small children
For the safety and well-being of young children and our team, we do not allow infants or toddlers to accompany a parent or care takerinto the exam room or testing areas.
Children ages 11 and under are REQUIRED to have adult supervision AT ALL TIMES while in the waiting area.
Unscheduled Patients in the Exam Room or Testing Areas
In order to provide the personalized care you’ve come to expect from your health care provider, we ask that only the scheduled patient enter the exam room or testing areas. This allows our team to focus on the patient and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Special needs
Patients with special needs may be accompanied by one caretaker while in the exam room or testing areas as needed.
Cell phone use
By Federal regulations, to protect your privacy and PHI (Personal Health Information) cell phone or mobile devices are prohibited in exam room and testing areas.
Emergencies
For our patients who are experiencing urgent medical problems, same-day appointments are usually available. For medical emergencies outside of office hours call 305-694-9800.
Please understand that the nature of our medical practice includes emergencies that can alter our schedule. We will inform you of a wait upon your arrival. Please extend a courtesy to these families, just as you would expect, if it were you being seen urgently.
