Norman Ruiz-Castaneda, MD
Dr. Norman Ruiz-Castaneda was born in Cuba and educated in the United States. He received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Tulane University in New Orleans and his medical degree from the University of Miami. He trained in pediatrics at Shands Teaching Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Los Angeles County Hospital & University of Southern California Medical Center, and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami. He has been in primary care pediatric private practice since 1982 and is board-certified in general pediatrics. He is a member of the American College of Pediatricians.
Dr. Ruiz-Castaneda speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He has been a deacon for the Archdiocese of Miami since 1993. Most importantly, he has been married to Carmen since 1979 and they have been blessed with 6 children, now adults, and an ever-growing number of grandchildren. He is committed to providing the best care for children.
Annette M. Parlade de Cardenas, MD
Dr. Annette Parlade de Cardenas was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received a bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry and psychology in 2003 from the University of Miami. She completed the Georgetown Experimental Medical Studies (GEMS) program at Georgetown University in 2004 and went on to receive her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2008. She completed her pediatric training at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in 2011.
After completing her residency she moved to Miami and joined Day & Night Pediatric Services in 2011. She then met her husband and together they have one daughter. She has always had a special interest in medical mission work, and participates in the Mindo Future’s Foundation to offer medical care to the people of Mindo, Ecuador.
Dr. Parlade de Cardenas is board-certified in pediatric and adolescent medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine.
Ramon F. Oyarzun, MD
Dr. Ramon Oyarzun was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He received his bachelor of arts in business administration with a minor in chemistry in 2000 from the University of Florida and his medical degree in 2005 from the University of Miami. He completed his pediatric medical training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2008. After his pediatric residency training, he joined South Florida Pediatric Partners for three years. He joined Day & Night Pediatric Services in 2011.
He is board-certified in pediatric and adolescent medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics and is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine. He is married and the proud father of two sons.
Lauren A. Cameron, MD
Dr. Lauren Cameron grew up in Melbourne, Florida. She received her bachelor of science in neuroscience from the University of Miami in 2010 and her medical degree from University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine in 2014. She then completed her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami and joined Day & Night Pediatric Services shortly thereafter in 2018. She and her husband, Jonathan, have been blessed with three children.
She is board-certified with the American Board of Pediatrics and is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine.
Katlin Yasher, DO
Dr. Katlin Yasher grew up in Miami, FL. She received her bachelor of science in athletic training in 2011 from the University of South Florida. She worked as an athletic trainer for a year in an orthopedic office before going on to complete her degree at Lake Eric College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL in 2016. She completed her residency at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Family is a big part of Dr. Yasher’s life and she is happy to be staying home in Miami. She joined Day and Night Pediatric Services in 2019.
Dr. Yasher is board certified in pediatric medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics and is licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine.
