Dr. Santiago originally hails from Puerto Rico. The island where he was born, raised and where he started his journey into medicine. He studied at the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus and completed a bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology.

He then started his medical training at the University of Puerto Rico Medical School, the institution that built much of his knowledge base and where he obtained his Medical Degree. He graduated with honors and was then accepted into the Richmond University Medical Center OB/GYN residency, based in Staten Island, NY. During those four years, he served multiple underserved populations and received his Laparoscopic Da Vinci Robotics Certification.

During the most recent phase of his life, Dr. Santiago moved to Sunny Coral Springs, Florida, continuing his career with Comprehensive OBGYN. He enjoys both patient interaction and education, as well as offering a patient centered approach to health care. He desires for all his patients to feel both informed and comfortable with their OB/GYN health.
