Dr. Bernard started her training in New York City where she studied at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, a prestigious accelerated program that accepts students directly from high school and encouraged minority providers on their journey into the medical field. After completing this degree, she studied and honed her skills at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, NY, obtaining her BS-MD.

She shortly after started her career at the Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY treating an underserved population of obstetric and GYN patients during her four-year residency. She then graduated from this program and moved to Florida, where she now practices with Comprehensive OBGYN.

Dr. Bernard has a passion for women’s health. She strongly desires for her patient to feel both educated and emancipated in their health. She believes in a collaborative, yet medically sound decision making process and encourages all patients to be fully informed about their Ob/GYN health.
