Raoul Sanchez M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Raoul Sanchez
Dr. Raoul Sanchez joined the Carithers Pediatric Group in 1997. A native to South Florida, he has enjoyed making Jacksonville his home since that time. He received his undergraduate degree from Stetson University and a medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Upon graduation, he entered into residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and graduated in 1997. Prior to coming to Jacksonville, he worked in the Birmingham Health Department for two months.
In his free time, Dr. Sanchez enjoys exercise, karate, reading, foreign language studies, and travel. He loves the outdoors, particularly Jacksonville’s beautiful beaches. He is proud to have two children that are pursuing careers in medicine as physicians.
Dr. Sanchez has served on the Board of the Healing Hearts Project. He has also been a guest lecturer at the UCF College of Medicine. He enjoys caring for infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of medical conditions. His special areas of interest include LGBTQ+ health, and the management of children with congenital heart disease, dermatologic conditions, and ADHD.
