Prenatal Visit in Wellington, Florida
Dr. Bergman offers complimentary “meet the doctor” visits for all expecting parents to come and visit his office and make an informed choice regarding picking a healthcare provider for their soon-to-be family addition. These visits must be scheduled in advance on Monday through Friday. These visits can be in person or virtually through telemedicine services. It is recommended that these be scheduled at least 4 weeks prior to your due date. Once you have made your decision, please call back our office and confirm that you have chosen Dr. Bergman so that he will be available to visit your newborn in the hospital after your child is born.
Well Child Visits and Immunization in Wellington, Florida
Dr. Bergman sees patients for well checkups at 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years or age and yearly after that until age 21 years old. Telemedicine Visits in Wellington, Florida
Dr. Bergman is available for Telemedicine Visits for many types of complaints or needs. These appointments need to be scheduled in advance with the office in the same manner as in-person visits. Please contact the office to determine if a Telemedicine visit is appropriate for your child. These can sometimes be used after hours as well. If when contacting Dr. Bergman for an emergency after hours, he may be able to intervene with a telemedicine visit and thereby avoid an unnecessary trip to the ER or Urgent Care
Preoperative Medical Clearance Exams in Wellington, Florida
Dr. Bergman is available to perform preoperative medical clearances for your child’s upcoming surgery. These appointments must be scheduled in advance and usually occur within the 7 days prior to your child’s surgery. Prior to leaving the office, he will give you a printed copy of the preoperative clearance and recommendations in addition to faxing a copy to your child’s surgeon who requested the medical clearance.
Preparticipation Sports Clearance and Physicals in Wellington, Florida
Dr. Bergman is happy to perform these sports physicals as part of your child’s well checkup. These are recommended before participation in competitive athletics. As part of your child’s sports clearance, Dr. Bergman will arrange for your child to have a free preparticipation sports EKG performed by a local cardiologist to help decrease the likelihood of an unforeseen cardiac event occurring during competitive athletics.
Pulmonary Function Tests in Wellington, Florida
Dr. Bergman has the latest technology in pulmonary function testing in house to help monitor lung function. This is especially useful in children with asthma or any child having issues with shortness of breath. This testing takes some of the guess work out of evaluating your child’s lung function. Using this technology, Dr. Bergman can safely wean your child off of daily medications for asthma that your child may not need. It can also help detect when your child may not be on enough medication.
Vision Screening in Wellington, Florida

Ear piercing is typically performed during your child’s well child visits but can also be scheduled separately. The cost is $60 and includes the first set of earrings. Dr. Bergman is a skilled ear-piercing specialist and performs this procedure using sterile technique. He has both standard size and mini ear-piercing equipment.
Developmental Screenings and Behavioral Assessments in Wellington, Florida
Dr. Bergman is here to treat a variety of behavioral conditions as well as developmental delay. He is well-versed in the treatment of

Obesity in Wellington, Florida
Obesity has become a major issue in the modern world, even for young children and adolescents. To be characterized as obese, the child has to have a Body Mass Index higher than 30. There are many causes for obesity, but working on prevention by establishing a healthy diet and including regular physical activity are the number one priority. Obesity can cause numerous chronic diseases and illnesses not limited to type 2 diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and stroke. Dr. Bergman will work with your child often in conjunction with a nutritionist to help deal with this issue. Children who are established to have 10% more weight than they should are considered good candidates for a weight loss program.

If you are looking for a small practice that can get you in for same day sick appointments, little to no wait times upon arrival, a caring doctor who takes his time with you and your child and doesn’t have a revolving door of staff members look no further. The office is open half a day on Saturdays to accommodate those who work during the week. Typically, those appointments you must book in advance because they fill up fast. Dr. Bergman is a very thorough doctor. He's always available for your baby.
